At the 1364, we are creating a fusion of environments and experiences that include seamlessly connected walkways with diverse dining choices, shopping and entertainment, marketplaces, social areas, and fun options. All with plenty of great outdoor areas to experience the unique natural habitat of the Diplomatic Quarter up close.

The name of the project is inspired by the Hijri date the Kingdom joined the United Nations in the UN’s founding year. 1364 is reflecting the position of the Kingdom as a forum of nations, civilizations, and cultures, which all combine in proximity of the 1364’s site in the Diplomatic Quarter, which is where the world meets the hospitality and culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Given the prominence and importance of the location, “Salmani” Architecture inspirations will be pervasive throughout the complex in a marriage of Saudi tradition with modern architecture principles. Local materials will be used extensively, and in a way that allows for a shopping experience that is current and relevant, yet clearly adheres to the rich cultural history of the local area. In the prime corner location, at Roundabout One, an architectural icon will be built as part of 1364 to appropriately reflect the importance and stature of the Diplomatic Quarter.
